♥Where could I go from Your Spirit? Or where could I flee from Your Presence?♥
Psalm 139:7
“No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgment
You shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
And their righteousness is from Me,”
Says the Lord.” -Isaiah 54:17
Start anointing your house with the oil of the Holy Spirit today. Grab a bottle of olive oil if you can (or you can use any oil if you want), bless it in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and anoint yourself and your home with it.
There is power in the very act of anointing. Just as evil doers would give way to evil spirits by attaching them to clothing or giving them objects to hold on to, anointing your home would leave the Holy Spirit in charge. Any negativities or evil spirits would have to leave.
Now, the Lord may not perform any extravagant spiritual acts as the devil does, but He is vastly more powerful in protecting you than the devil is at harming you. He will protect you and fill the atmosphere with His Life.
So remember to anoint your house today. Especially in this season, as self righteousness is on the rise, giving more way to the devil in the lives of the unbelievers out there. This would make sure that you are protected even as you go about your daily lives in the world.
This is very true and I highly encourage any believer to do this. It may not feel like much is happening but you have no idea how powerful this is. Oil is used to represent the Holy Spirit because it shows what His presence does. I love how accurate the bible is in explaining things. It says that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom, liberty, emancipation from bondage. It also says that the anointing breaks every yoke. And what does oil do? It’s used as a lubricant. So it causes things to move freely. It loosens dirt that causes binding and bondage. And restores healthy movement and flow.
I personally have experienced a lot since I started using the anointing oil myself. I’ll just mention one instance. On my job, when I first started working there, I started anointing the place because my boss and people who worked there before were not believers and I knew about anointing representing the Holy Spirit. So I just did this because I saw my father doing it to houses he was invited to pray in. I didn’t even feel like anything much was happening. You could say I did it as a religious act. But before long, I started noticing some little changes taking place. Originally that place was dead as a cemetery … little to no business lol. My boss was even thinking of closing the place down in time. Just as he was considering it, the business suddenly started picking up. It didn’t seem like much at first. His other branches were doing better. But before long, my branch actually started surpassing some of the others. And it made absolutely no sense to me because all the other places are hotspots and there are more merchandise for sale there. Then I started noticing another thing.
There were a lot of pests (cockroaches for the most part). My aim was not to get rid of any of them obviously, cuz, like anyone, I thought it was a normal thing to have those things around. Every morning I would have to battle with a can of bug spray and some caution…there’d be a whole lot out waiting for you lol. After some time, I noticed that their numbers were decreasing…and any that remained were weak and nearly dying. Currently, they’ve completely cleared out. Even my boss noticed and was shocked. More so since he knows he never had any pest control.
I do believe, God has begun ‘cleaning up’ the atmosphere at my job. My boss even started asking me questions about Jesus. Even some of his family who live upstairs the business have been asking me questions. These physical signs are evidence of what He has been spiritually doing. I’m not saying to look forward for pest control or anything lol. All I’m saying is that there’s very real power in the anointing oil. It protects and gives life to you and the atmosphere around you.
If you’re ever feeling extremely down or even doubtful concerning God’s love for you, I’d like to suggest reading John chapter 17.I was having one of my own doubtful/down moments some time ago and I was lead to it. There was something about this scripture that brought me to tears. It’s actually only tonight as I was typing that it hit me…..this is JESUS HIMSELF praying for us.
He’s asking the Father to protect us and reveal to us the quality of love that He has for us. He’s asking for us to be so close to Him that we’re made one with Him…etc.
All these things He bought and paid for with His blood. A lack of spiritual understanding can truly rob us of the endless supply that Jesus purchased for us. We have it all in Him…yet we don’t have them physically manifested in our lives because we don’t know so many things. This world has really blinded us and it only takes the work of the Holy Spirit to remove the scales from our eyes.

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
The Greek word translated as “spirit” in this Scripture is “pneuma”. Thayer’s Greek/English Lexicon describes pneuma as used in this Scripture as meaning:
“To be filled with same Spirit as Christ, and by the bond of that Spirit to be intimately united to Christ.”
In other words, there is no room in the born-again spirit of the Christian for fear to exist because the born-again spirit is intimately united to Christ’s Spirit (The Holy Spirit).”

“Therefore He is able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.”
Hebrews 7:25
The more I seek God, the more I realise just how important, special, awesome, wonderful, magnificent and beautiful Jesus is. I pray that the Holy Spirit helps me to continue in this walk because I seriously don’t want to go back to the way I used to be, and I know I can’t do this on my own. So much has happened…I can’t even begin to put into words just how much God has done for me. But all I know is that I want more of Him. I want new revelations of Jesus in my life.
